Looking for a new customer service career. Then join us as a Relay Officer. If you have a genuine interest in helping people and giving back to the community this is the role for you. You will actively listen and provide a great customer experience through text and phone-based communication, providing a solution for people who are deaf or have hearing or speech difficulties.

Key Role Details:

• Commencement date: 3rd March 2025
• Operating hours:  Monday-Friday 7am to 9pm
• Location: Brisbane Delivery Centre
• Pay Rate: $25.80 + penalty and superannuation
• Training: 2 weeks full time paid training
• Offering Permanent, Full Time & Part Time
• Skills and suitability based opportunities in future, to move to hybrid role, including overnight and or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a solution for people who are deaf or have hearing or speech difficulties.
• Responsible for frontline customer service accessible to all users by methods such as telephone, TTY, email, fax and SMS and any other means available.
• Ability to deal with highly confidential information, including sensitive situations.
• The ability to engage and build rapport with customers/clients over a wide-ranging demographic.

• Have the ability to complete background and police checks
